We arrived in Barcelona after a long but pleasant flight,,,and Lola, our tour guide, took us downtown to the old part of the city, and we walked down the busy colorful RAMBLAS promenade to get a first impression of this amazing city that is Barcelona...we were so impressed by the amount of street performers, flower and bird stalls and different people from all over the world !! we had a lovely afternoon to enjoy and discover by ourselves ,and some of us went to the famous PICASSO museum while others preferred to do a little shopping in the narrow streets around the cathedral area...We then had a wonderful buffet dinner and by that time we were so tired that we retiurned to the hotel and had a great rest...
