we finally arrived in Spain!! and in spite of a loooooong journet to get here, we were so excited that we made the best of the day, enjoying every single minute and also the abundant rain!!! after opur check in at the hotel, Lola, our tour guide, took us downtown and to the PRADO MUSEUm, where we could enjoy some of the great spanish painters of the past...then we were caught by the pouring rain and we stopped at the beautiful ATOCHA train station, with its interior botanycal gardens, before our dinner at a local restaurant....By the end of the day we were so exhausted trhat itr was a real pleasure to go back to the hotel and....SLEEP!"!!
