Well we arrived in Paris on time and were met by our Tour Director, Summer, and our bus which took us in to the city. After checking into the hotel, it was off to Notre Dame and the area around there (Latin Quarter, Hotel de Ville, Ile de la Cité) to admire the Christmas decorations and the Nativity scene. The city was so beautiful with its holiday lights. Then we continued on, using the Metro--now we are starting to get used to it--going to the Champs Elysees where we took a short promenade before dinner which was a type of pizza typical of the Alsace region of France. In the evening, we were ready to go back to the hotel--so tired from jet lag and wanting to rest up for tomorrow--another busy day!!!
