Everyone landed safely in London this afternoon and we headed straight to the hotel in the east side of the city. We checked in and after unpacking and freshening up after the long journey, were soon out exploring. Our first experience was a ride on the tube over to the heart of the west end. We walked through Soho and China Town to Leicester Square home of movie premiers and handprints of the stars. In fact we were there just in time to catch Will Smith's new movie being launched and even got photos of this hollywood legend. We had our first taste of English food - traditional fish and chips with salt and malt vinegar at a nearby restaurant. Afterwards we headed to Picadilly Circus for a photo moment before riding back to the hotel. Tonight we're catching up on some much needed sleep so we're ready for more sightseeing tomorrow.
