KALIMERA from Athens ! After this long journey, its feel so good to be now in Greece, this country with a long and fascinating history ! For our first day Katrin our tour director had planned a walking tour for us to get a taste of this capital. We passed by some of the most important sites and we spent some time in Plaka which is the oldest neighboorhood of Athens. Walking on its paved narrow streets , we got the feeling of travelling back in time ! The beautiful neo-classical style colour of the houses, the architecture, the well-kept gardens and the beauty and atmosphere of this neighbourhood were really enchanting. The weather is hot and we are happy now to go for dinner and to get some sleep ......we need a good night to be fresh and rested for tomorow....... KALIMERA d' Athenes ! Apres ce long voyage, nous apprecions d' etre maintenant arrives a Athenes, ce pays qui a un passe si riche en histoire ! Pour notre 1er jour Catherine notre " tour director" nous a emmene goute un peu l' atmosphere de cette capitale. Nous avons vu quelques uns des plus importants sites et nous sommes alles nous rafraichir dans le quartier de Plaka qui est le plus ancien quartier d' Athenes.En nous promenant dans les ruelles etroites et pavees , nous avions l' impression d' avoir fait un retour dans le passe !L' atmosphere de ce quartier nous a enchante avec ses jolies maisons anciennes et toutes ces petites echopes. Maintenant nous allons diner et pensons aller dormir tot car nous voulons etre en forme pour demain.....a bientot !
